From the pioneer of Priorat comes this single vineyard offering made from a blend of grenache and cabernets. It's a lush, sumptuous style that shows bucket loads of dark cherries and ripe raspberries on the nose, together with whiffs of anise spice, toast and earthiness. The palate is plush and powerful, with a deep core of black fruit flavours, tight solid tannins, and an impressive spicy finish. This needs time in the cellar, or loads of air and some rare roast meats. Top stuff!
A gorgeous boof of velvet perfume. Great balance, extreme length. Pomegranate, cherry, floral, rose petal, soot and tons of mineral. Fermented in foudre, 6 months on malo lees and 18 months barrel maturation.
