Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
The 2003 vintage is highly aromatic, with fullness of body (13.4 per cent alcohol) and good depth of fresh, slightly sweet, spicy, peachy flavour. The 2004, grown at two sites at Patutahi, is lemony and gingery, with a hint of honey, but also shows a slight lack of delicacy and finesse.

The 2002 vintage has a fresh, rich, musky perfume. It's a mouthfilling wine with strong pear, lychees and spice flavours and a crisp, slightly sweet finish. The 2003 is highly aromatic, with fullness of body (13.4 per cent alcohol) and good depth of fresh, slightly sweet, spicy, peachy flavour.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The floral 2000 vintage is a crisp, ripe-tasting wine with very good depth of gingery, spicy flavours, showing considerable richness, and a fractionally off-dry finish. Made without skin contact and cool-fermented for 60 days, the 2002 has a fresh, rich, musky perfume. Mouthfilling, with strong pear, lychees and spice flavours and a crisp, slightly sweet finish, it should be in full stride from mid-2003 onwards.
