Angelicus Garnacha Shiraz

Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
An elegant medium bodied red from shiraz and Grenache (garnacha). aromas of black cherry and vanillin oak with some spicy plummy characters. The palate is soft and generously supple with ripe tannins with a gentle touch of oak in support. Plenty of richness and flavour through to the long soft finish.

Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
There is some rather nice sweet fruit in this blended red with a lifted floral bouquet displaying some nice spicy notes. The medium weight palate has good fruit intensity and it should be a pretty good wine when released early in 2011. Still in barrel when tasted so not rated.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Bright, clear red; strongly savoury spicy aromas and flavours are the first impression, but red also come through on resting, plus a hint of eucalypt. The firm structure is admirable.
