Vermentino is a relatively new addition to the Angove Family Crest range, and hails from the a vineyard on the banks of the Murray River that is currently going through organic conversion. It's a wine that is easy to come at, and shows smells of pears and apples on the nose, along with yellow citrus and a hint of white florals. The palate is lighter-bodied and dry, with frisky citrus flavours, a talcy texture, and a gentle, refreshing finish. Excellent with sardines on toast.
A pale green straw, this Vermentino has a lifted floral and aromatic nose with aromas of Nashi pears, grapefruit zest and citrus notes. These characters carry through to the palate which shows grapefruit and melon fruits supported with texture and a clean soft finish. Perfect with seafood, creamy dishes are as an aperitif.
