Cracka Review

Would it be easier if both Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio were just labeled Pinot G? There is always some confusion with the variety, however it’s just the same grape yet made in an Italian or French style. This is a nod to the Italian version with crisper, leaner fruit that recommends itself to seafood or antipasto plates. So typical of the variety it shows pear and apple on the nose and palate, has a refreshing fruit profile and ends with clean acids.

Winemaker's Notes

New season pear and apple aromas leap from the glass followed by a hint of white peach. The flavours carry through from the initial impression with green apples and firm pears. Finshing crisp and clean, this is a wine that dances delicately in the mouth and caresses the tastebuds.

Angove 'Nine Vines' Pinot Grigio

Peter Forrestal (2009 Vintage) says
Reverberating with the zest of youth, this shows the advantage of drinking these whites while they are fresh and young. It's bright, clean and floral, has good viscosity and tangy, vibrant acidity that finishes long and mild

This Riverland pinot grigio is soft, round, and attractive current drinking thanks to its savoury characters and lingering dry finish. Try it with a Vietnamese stir-fry chicken dish.
