Cracka Review

Orange’s reputation is starting to soar as high as Mount Canabolos, the famed highest peak in the region. The ability for winemakers to specialise in coll climate grapes has become the calling card of the area and Shiraz is one variety that is exciting us. The A range represents quality everyday drinking, so this Shiraz is well suited to laid back barbecues. It’s rich in blackberry and peppery spice with a palate of black fruits, integrated spice and soft tannins.

Winemaker's Notes

Colour: Deep blackish purple / ruby red

Aroma: Rich and concentrated aromas of blackberry, spice, cracked pepper, liquorice and cigar box.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Good crimson hue although not deep; has an abundance of soft, plush fruit on the bouquet and palate in a red flavour spectrum, the cool climate showing only on the very finish.
