Annie's Lane Sparkling Shiraz

Nick Stock says
A rich and deeply ripe shiraz that smells of plums, dark chocolate and dark grilled nuts. The palate delivers similarly rich flavours, more deeply ripe dark plums, fine fizzy build and a gently grippy finish. I'd cellar this for a few years to soften and add complexity - will work nicely.

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh says
It's tasty and the flavours sure do linger, but it's not all joy. It tastes of blackberry and olives and plum sauce, a gentle spiciness evident if you really search hard. There's also the odd flavour, though, of stewed vegetables and tinned corn, so a warning must be issued: some people will find these flavours off-putting. If these flavours don't bother you, there's some fun to be had here. There's only a limited amount of this available; indeed, the easiest place to find it is through the Annie's Lane cellar door.
