Anvers Brabo Cabernet Sauvignon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

According to Google, Brabo is the name of a Dutch hockey stick company - but we think it means 'value'. This Cabernet certainly packs in a lot of flavour for minimal dollars, with no shortage of berry richness. We have absolutely no idea how Anvers makes money on this red though - it's just way too good for the price!

Winemaker's Notes

The winemaking style for the Brabo range is focused on producing softer, more approachable wines that can be enjoyed in their youth. Grapes sourced from premium regions of South Australia provide a delightful freshness of fruit. The 2013 Brabo Cabernet Sauvignon provides an everyday drinking alternative to the Anvers Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2013 Brabo Cabernet Sauvignon is dark red in colour with a bouquet of blackcurrant and cinnamon. The palate exhibits berry fruit characters with hints of vanilla. To be enjoyed anytime.

Anvers Brabo Cabernet Sauvignon

Expert Reviews

Australian Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine (2013 Vintage) says
The colour of this impressive young Cabernet is a dense purple-red and its beautifully ripe aroma displays violets and black fruits. It's full-bodied, fleshy and ripe, yet also very Cabernet-like, and the tannins are ample but soft.
