Cracka Review

What are you going to drink with that kilo of fresh prawns you just procured? This of course. It makes sense that Sauvignon and Semillon go together with savvy lending lift and fruit vibrancy while Semillon adds citrus intensity and acid structure. It’s laden with gooseberry and passionfruit flavours with a crisp, fresh palate and immense acid refreshment.

Winemaker's Notes

The winemaking style for the Anvers Brabo range is focused on producing soft, approachable wines that can be enjoyed in their youth. As a casual everyday drinking wine, or ideal accompaniment to café dining, the Anvers Brabo range represent exceptional value for money with depth and flavour complexity of wines twice their price.

The 2012 Brabo Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (75%) and Semillon (25%). The wine exhibits a full array of flavours and aromas from gooseberry to passionfruit in the Sauvignon Blanc and fresh herb and citrus flavours of the Semillon. The palate is fresh, lively and crisp with a long finish.

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
A 75/25% blend that is well-balanced and has some sweet fruit, likely with a touch of sugar, which will have a broad appeal at the price.
