Expert Reviews

Rob Geddes MW (2006 Vintage) says
Cool climate apple and pear fruit, medium weight with freshness, nicely balanced oak. Tightly framed when young.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Excellent green-yellow colour; clean, smooth peachy fruit on both the bouquet and palate is the driving force of the wine, which is nicely balanced and has good, ripe flavours. If there is a criticism, the oak is slightly pedestrian.

James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; complex grapefruit and other citrus aromas with sophisticated, albeit subtle, oak on the bouquet is followed by a palate with real style. Here melon and grapefruit flavours are balanced by appropriate acidity and just a twist of oak.

James Halliday (1996 Vintage) says
Medium green-yellow; the bouquet is quite complex and intense with melon and fig fruit woven through with barrel ferment characters. The palate is slightly more delicate than the bouquet would suggest, but is extremely well balanced and has length and persistence of flavour.
