Cracka Review

New Zealand is kicking massive goals with pinot gris, and this one is a real crowd pleaser. Lots of nashi pears, stone fruits and honey appear on the nose, and on the palate it is lush, floral and spicy with a smidgen of sweetness up front and a refreshing lemon finish. It would drink well with some pad Thai.

Winemaker's Notes

This 2015 Pinot Gris delivers delicate aromas of pear, and nectarine which flow through to honeyed floral and citrus notes on the palate. Pair it with Asian fusion dishes, grilled seafood and mild curries.

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
This has some handy composure to it, verging into stone fruits and away from the lighter musky, transient styles - good depth on the nose. The palate's similarly well built, with bright, crisp pear and white-peach flavours; doesn't trade on sugar, and there's decent concentration here.
