Pale straw-green; wild yeast barrel fermentation has produced a well-balanced wine, fruit and oak both contributing positively to the peach and grapefruit flavours; there is also a distinct toasty/buttery note from the oak.

Strikes immediately with a classic combination of intense chardonnay fruit and cream oak with overtones of cashew and stone fruit plus a little squeeze of lemon. The palate is tightly held with excellent depth and fruit persistence to a long finish. The wild yeast infuence adds complexity and texture. A very nice wine

This is a modern style of chardonnay. It's been given the barrel ferment treatment and a smidgeon of malolactic fermentation to bring some complexity into the mix. At the same time the fruit remains reserved and elegantly controlled. Like the light melon and subtle grapefruit which complete a very good wine.
