Ashwell Martinborough Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Grown on the Martin borough Terraces, the 2010 vintage was matured in French oak casks (one-third new). A floral, ruby-hued wine, it is medium-bodied and supple, with good depth of cherry and slight herb flavours, gentle tannins and some savoury complexity. It's a very harmonious wine, with drink-young appeal.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Grown on the Martinborough Terraces, the 2008 vintage was matured in French oak barriques (50 per cent new). It's a sweet-fruited wine, full-coloured - although not entirely clear - with rich cherry, plum and slight herb flavours, savoury and complex.
