Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
This small Hawke's Bay winery has an excellent track record with Gewurztraminer. The 2004 vintage, harvested at 22.8 to 24.1 brix, has scented, very ripe lychees and spice aromas, weighty and well-spiced, with flavours of pears, lychees and ginger and a slightly oily mouthfeel, it's a relatively dry style (5 grams/litre of residual sugar), perfumed, soft and rich.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The 2002 vintage from this small Hawke's Bay winery, partly (25 per cent) fermented in old French oak casks, has a heady, intensely varietal perfume. Substantial in body, it's a dryish style (around 5 grams/litre of residual sugar) with lovely depth of fresh, vibrant lychees and spice flavours and a rounded finish. The 2003 has a perfumed, spicy, musky bouquet. It's a crisp, medium-bodied style (11.5 per cent alcohol) with plenty of citrusy, spicy flavour, but less lush and rich than the 2002.
