Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage was estate-grown in Hawke's Bay, hand-picked and fermented in old oak barrels. Amber-hued, it's a very rich and raisiny, unabashedly sweet wine (168 grams/litre of residual sugar) with concentrated apricot, honey and nut flavours. Only a slight loss of freshness and vibrancy holds it back from a higher rating.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The golden, treacly 2008 vintage was harvested in Hawke's Bay at 36 brix. It has strong, sweet (160 grams/litre of residual sugar) flavours of peaches, apricots and honey, but lacks a bit of freshness.

Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
Picked in Hawke's Bay at 35 brix and 60 per cent botrytis infection, the barrel-fermented 2005 vintage is a gold/amber wine with abundant sweetness (220 grams/litre of residual sugar). It shows a slight lack of freshness, but offers rich, peachy, honeyed flavours.
