Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
At its best, this is a ravishing Hawke's Bay beauty in the mould of classic Sauternes. The 2008 vintage was fermented in French oak barrels (25 per cent new). Amber/green, with a bouquet of apricots and honey, it is oily and sweet (200 grams/litre of residual sugar), with concentrated honey, tea and apricot flavours, very rich and treacly. Ready.

Deep amber, it's an oily, treacly wine with highly concentrated flavours of honey and apricots, soaring sweetness (350 grams/litre of residual sugar) and a powerful botrytis influence. Drink now.
