Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Still on sale, the 2008 vintage was grown in the Awatere Valley, hand-picked and barrel-fermented, with frequent lees-stirring. It's a slightly Chardonnay-like wine, fleshy and creamy-rextured, with stone-fruit and spice flavours, plenty of toasty oak in evidence (arguably a bit too much) and a dry (4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
