Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
Auntsfield’s new single block wines showcase the mineral structure of the particularly old soils of this vineyard in Marlborough’s southern valleys. With vines now reaching the important milestone of thirteen years of age, the wines have ascended to new levels of mineral distinction, here displaying pronounced, slatey minerality. Such finesse, restraint, honed focus and textured mineral structure are seldom found in this region. Pretty grapefruit blossom and white peach aromatics introduce a delightfully taut palate of high-strung acidity and refined lemon and grapefruit allusions.

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Superb wine, celebrated by all judges. Fragrant, highly complex bouquet, suggestive of grilled nuts, leading into a mouthfilling, very generous palate with great depth of peach and grapefruit flavours, finely balanced oak (30% new) and impressive complexity. Beautifully rich, finely textured and layered.

Lifted aromas of ripe melons and passionfruit. Simple, sweet palate - with excellent oak- has structure, texture and length and should age beautifully.
