Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Previously labelled 'Cob Cottage', this is a consistently rewarding wine. Estate-grown on the south side of the Wairau Valley, hand-picked and fermented in French oak barrels (25 per cent new), the 2010 vintage is finely fragrant, with substantial body and a complex array of grapefruit, nut and spice flavours, youthful and slightly creamy. The 2009 is also fragrant, weighty, creamy and complex.
