Babich East Coast Unoaked Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
This easy-drinking wine is grown in three North Island regions - Hawke's Bay, Gisborne and Auckland. In the past it was fully oak-aged, but from 2000 onwards was only partly handled in wood, and the 2002 vintage was processed entirely in tanks. A full-bodied, citrusy, lively wine with fresh, vibrant fruit aromas and flavours and a fully dry finish, it's a fruit-driven style - with style.
