Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
Grown in the Gimblett Gravels, Hawke's Bay, and matured in French oak casks, the 2007 vintage is mouthfilling, with good depth of colour and flavour. Still youthful, it has a slightly minty bouquet, with a dash of coffee, and some richness and roundness on the palate.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Grown in Gimblett Road, Hawke's Bay, the 2001 is full but not densely coloured, with berryish, plummy, spicy, slightly earthy flavours. It's a moderately complex, gently oaked wine, not highly concentrated but showing decent depth and balanced for easy drinking, The 2002 vintage has youthful, purple/red colour of good depth. It offers fresh, vibrantly fruity berry and plum flavours, with a subtle oak influence and gentle tannins.
