Cracka Review

Deeply coloured and voluptuous, this wine should tick the boxes for any discerning wine drinker. Truck loads of red berries, earthy spices and dark chocolate entice on the nose, whilst the palate is full-bodied, ripe and plummy with a long, graceful, spicy finish. It's ready to drink now, but can be kept for a couple more years. Would be lovely with Moroccan lamb - yum!

Winemaker's Notes

The crimson hue of red berries & the deep purple of ripe plums, chocolate and liquorice on the palate, combine to define this earthy full bodied Shiraz. Spices and cassis on the elegant finish of this exceptional wine.

Berry fruit and a floral lift in the aromas. Pinot-like medium body fresh acidity moderate tannin with a surprising extra dimension of spice to the savoury charcuterie finish.

Holding crimson-purple hue well; a classy cool-grown style, with enough pepper and spice — but not too much - for the cherry and plum fruit of the palate that finishes with fine tannins.

A very lively, light- to medium-bodied wine, with a strong dusting of spice and pepper to its juicy red and black fruit aromas and flavours. No need for patience.

Interesting concoction of cooked fruit/oyster sauce/tarry aromas. Medium-weight savoury palate with lots of pepper and lovely leathery tannins.
