Bald Hills Friends and Lovers Rose

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
From Pinot Noir vines managed specifically for rose, the 2010 vintage was estate-grown at Bannockburn, in Central Otago, and mostly handled in tanks; 20 per cent of the blend was barrel-fermented. Pink/pale red, with betryish aromas, it is fresh and lively, berryish and spicy, with strong, refreshing flavours and a crisp, dryish (5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Full of appeal, the 2008 vintage was made from Pinot Noir, estate-grown at Bannockburn, in Central Otago. Bright pink, it is very floral and fresh, with strong, buoyant, cherry and plum flavours, slightly spicy and smooth.
