Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
From a small block of vines at Bannockburn, in Central Otago, the 2008 vintage has gently spicy aromas. Enlivened by fresh acidity, it's a dry style (3.4 grams/litre of residual sugar) with a slightly creamy texture and fresh, vibrant, citrusy, slightly appley and spicy flavours, showing good depth.

Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
From the Hunt family's tiny (1-hectare) vineyard at Bannockburn in Central Otago, the debut 2003 vintage, labelled 'Pigeon Rocks', is a dry style, fresh and lively, with soaring alcohol (14.5 per cent), very good depth of lychees and apple flavours and a well-spiced finish. The 2005 is pale, with fresh pear, lime, spice and apple flavours, refreshingly crisp and dry.
