Bannock Brae Estate Goldfields Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
A great buy. Estate-grown at Bannockburn, in Central Otago, this is a 'feminine', very graceful, supple wine. The 2009 vintage harvested at 24.8 brix, matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (20 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered, is one of the best. Mouthfilling and concentrated, it is youthful, with vibrant plum, cherry and spice flavours and finely integrated oak. Exuberantly fruity, yet showing good complexity, it's a drink-now or cellaring proposition.
