James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
First tasted at the National Wine Show '04; has developed better than expected since that time; flavours and tannins have come together in a smooth union.

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2002 Vintage) says
This is another of Hardys reds from the South Australian Riverland. It has ripe redcurrant and red cherry flavour - quite different in character from the other petit verdots reviewed here - and is soft and round. Then it finishes with big, bold tannins that are somewhat overpowering.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Deep, vivid purple-red; a concentrated, ripe blackberry jam bouquet leads into a powerful and tannic palate, showing just why the variety should be the minor component of a Bordeaux-blend.
