James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Medium purple-red; the light, spicy, savoury, plummy bouquet is followed by a palate with soft plummy fruit, a dash of dark chocolate and a soft finish. The region of origin is South East Australia, and the wine is said to come from old vines, which at the very least proves that old in this varietal context has a very elastic meaning.
