Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A lighter colour here, quite fragrant and elegant with lighter red fruits, cherries and forest berries, a little smoky edge and some toasty oak in the mix. The palate s supple and smooth, quite juicy and even, and acidity is a feature; not especially concentrated but balanced to boot.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Vibrant colour; attractive perfume redolent of raspberry, blueberry, plum, orange rind and clove; a bright and varietal palate, with elegant and layered red fruits and spice, held together with lively acidity, fine tannins and savoury core of ironstone to conclude.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Very good colour and clarity; a succulent ripe mix of plum and black cherry; good continuity and energy.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Medium- to full purple-red; powerful and concentrated; lots of structure and character; a lighter touch might have made an even better wine
