Barwick Estates The Terraces Shiraz

Cracka Review

Deep purple with magnificent aromas of vanillin oak and dark fruitcakeBlackberry and plummy fruit intensity with a rich and lush palate of generous shiraz and earthiness. Opulent flavours cascade across the palate with a long finish.

Mike Bennie (2012 Vintage) says
This comes from a single block in Blackwood Valley - a gravelly site in which shiraz seems to thrive. It's touched up with vanillin oak licks and yet smooth and lathed in texture with great length, firm tannins but suppleness of fruit in tow. Sexy.
