Ahhh, dolcetto. So easy to drink its insane! And this one will feel like it is wrapping your palate in a faux fur rug. Appealing scents of spiced plums and black cherries rise from the glass, whilst the palate is medium-boded and smooth, with lush berry and plummy flavours, licks of anise spice, fluffy tannins, and a dry, smooth cherry finish. It's the kind of wine everyone will love, so stick a few in the cupboard for when friends drop round.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Deep ruby red, tending towards violet reflections, especially in the foam.

Nose: Vinous, fruity and elegant.

Palate: Dry, rich, full, mellow flavour from which emerges an elegant slightly sharp but not unpleasant taste with a good, well-balanced body. This cru embodies an elegance of particular refinement which is best appreciated around the following September of the harvest.

Food: Highly adaptable wine which can be served with many dishes. It is ideal with ‘tajarin’, home made pasta from the Langhe and hot hors-d’oeuvres. Best served at 16 - 18 C.
