WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Roses and Turkish delight lift up off the nose. The attractive palate is all flowers and peaches, with a nice herbal focus.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Pleasant mouthfeel; gentle spice and citrus, with good length and balance; varietal character still a little subdued.

Peter Forrestal (2005 Vintage) says
Bay of Fires, near Launceston, is the headquarters of Hardys' Tasmanian operation. Talented winemaker Fran Austin is making a great range of table wines under both the 'Bay of Fires' and 'Tigress' labels. This is one of a number of Tassie gewurztraminers setting new standards for Australia. Hedonistically aromatic, even alluring, with honeysuckle, rose petal, Turkish delight characters on the bouquet and the palate. Importantly, there is taut, racy natural acidity, leaving the finish crisp and dry.
