Bay of Fires Sparkling Tasmanian Cuvee Rose

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

How good are these Tassie bubblies, although with such a cool Summer it is no great surprise that our little southern island makes the best in the country. The Rose is one the best in the country full to the brim with elegant, beautiful fruit flavour. A very serious Rose.

Winemaker's Notes

Medium salmon pink in colour, this sparkling wine displays strawberry fruits and musk aromas complexed by characters of lanolin, toast, sea brine and mushroom.

The palate exhibits red berry fruits complexed by earthy, mushroom and autolytic characters. A flavoursome palate with creamy mouthfeel. Persistent flavours finishing with crisp natural acid and slight tannin grip.

Food - Enjoy with seafood and poultry dishes.

All-Tasmanian effort here, with a salmon colour and a bright wild strawberry nose that smells really fresh and delicately perfumed. The balance and grace are alluring, really gentle; charming wine.
