James Halliday says
Highly aromatic strong stone fruit and mandarin abundant flavour, richer than Arras, but less fine.

Bright, lively and direct, from one of the biggest and best producers of Australian sparkling comes this Tassie Tigress. It's a cool-climate beast, finely tuned and neatly structured, a terrific party drink to keep the guests refreshed. Fresh citrus and berry fruit aromas, softly textured and boasting just enough yeasty complexity, it's superbly balanced.

Another superb bubbly from the Constellation Tasmania: it's delicate, very fine, has lightly flavours, creamy texture and a zippy, dry finish that lingers. Classy and well priced.

The Bay of Fires brand showcases the best of Tasmanian winemaking by the giant Constellation Group. Bay of Fires is the more expensive label while the Tigress is the 'value' brand. And you know what? I like the Tigress moreÑthe wines are less fussed over, more honest and uncomplicated. This is a case in point: top bubblesÑgreat price.
