Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
Belebula is a vineyard and olive grove planted at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley in 1999. The focus is on Spanish and Italian varieties... of grapes and olives. Cool. This was a trophy winner at the 2009 Hunter Valley wine show. We tasted it over the course of a few hours and concluded that it's a super wine. It really needs some air though. It has some obvious oak - shown in notes of vanilla and coconut - but it's earthy, blackberried and (very) dark with hints of lemon air freshener (really). It's got a good net of tannins, lots of length and so much flavour, it's like a black hole. Heavily oaked, but an amazing wine.

Some intensity of fruit on the nose, with spicy oak highlights. Palate is big, solid and still tight, with great length of excellent varietal fruit and oak to balance it. Time! 3-5

Nice perfumed berry lift to the nose. Long and soft in the mouth and filled with dark sweet fruits and charry oak - plenty of flavour length.
