Bianchet Chardonnay

Cracka Review

Subtle citrus and stone fruit characters lead to a balanced and well structured wine with restrained Smokey Oak as a supporting character. This wine may be enjoyed now or cellared for further development.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Medium-bodied peach and nectarine fruit; oak needed to be less strident and of better quality.

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the moderately intense bouquet is clean, with melon fruit and just a touch of oak; the light to medium-bodied palate is well balanced, with gentle flavours, but has a Yarra Valley stamp of length to lift it out of the ruck.

James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Medium yellow-green; the bouquet is sweet with nectarine and fig fruit aromas, the palate elegant, harmonious and supple. Fruit-driven, and not particularly complex, but with lovely pure Chardonnay varietal character.
