Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 vintage was grown at Haumoana, hand-picked and tank-fermented. A good 'food' wine, it is ripely scented, fleshy and soft, in an Alsace style with strong, peachy, spicy flavours, showing excellent texture and richness.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
From Lorraine Leheny and Warren Gibson (winemaker at Trinity Hill), the 2008 vintage is a dry style (3 grams/litre of residual sugar) with a peachy, spicy bouquet, good weight (14 per cent alcohol) and strong, ripe peach, pear and spice flavours. A generous, finely textured wine, showing excellent depth and harmony, it's drinking well now.
