Bilancia has managed to retain delicate poise in a gris of impressive exoticism of starfruit, nashi pear and ginger. A softly textured lemon blossom palate is built around well-considered, gently phenolic structure that heightens mouthfeel and definition. A well-crafted wine for food.

A nice, bright and fragrant edition of this Hawke s Bay pinot gris that shows a candied apple and sweet pastry edge. The palate texture is very complete and composed, a smooth texture that has seamless, gentle appeal.

A composed, creamy and savoury style here: gentle nougat and grilled nuts layered across ripe pear and apple fruits, with baking spices and fresh bread too. The palate's really creamy and compact, and has been nicely folded in the winery: gentle pears, almond and stone fruits. Terrific balance.

This is a gently complex take on the pinot gris theme from one of Hawkes Bay's top producers. It has a spiced pear nose and really bright, attractive zesty nuances. The palate rolls some mealy flavour through poached, spiced pear with impressive poise and balance. Flowing glazed texture. Nice wine.
