Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
Grown in rocky terrain in one of the world's southernmost vineyards, at Alexandra in Central Otago, this is typically a green-appley wine with a crisp, fresh, Mosel-like delicacy. The 2003 vintage is green-edged, with a splash of sweetness (11 grams/litre of residual sugar), but it lacks real freshness and vibrancy.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Grown in rocky terrain in one of the world's southernmost vineyards, at Alexandra in Central Otago, this is typically a green-apptey wine with a crisp, fresh, Mosel-like delicacy. Still youthful, the 2002 vintage is light lemon/green, with strong lemon, lime and apple flavours in a cool-climate style with firm acidity and a tight, slightly minerally finish. Open late 2004+.

Grown in rocky terrain in one of the world's southernmost vineyards, at Alexandra in Central Otago, this is typically a green-appley wine with a crisp, fresh, Mosel-like delicacy. The 2001 vintage makes no concessions to drink-young appeal. Pale lemon/green, with a slightly minerally bouquet, it is light-bodied (10.5 per cent alcohol) and crisp, with apple/lime flavours and a steely, bone-dry finish. Slightly austere in its youth, it's a logical candidate for cellaring.

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light to medium green-yellow; the bouquet is fine, crisp and intense with the lemon, lime and apple characters which appear with equal intensity on the palate. There is no evidence of botrytis in the wine, and although it is technically in the medium, off-dry category, the acidity masks the sweetness (or is it vice versa?).

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
From the world's southernmost winery at Alexandra, this is typically a green-appley Central Otago wine with a crisp, fresh, Mosel-like delicacy. The attractive 1998 vintage is a slightly sweet style with strong lemony, appley flavours, fresh and zesty.
