Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Estate-grown in the Awatere Valley, the 2009 vintage was hand-picked at 24 brix and matured for 10 months in French oak casks (35 per cent new). Ruby-hued, vibrant and supple, it has fresh, plummy, cherryish flavours showing moderate complexity. The 2010 is full-coloured, with fresh cherry and plum flavours, hints of herbs and spices, a subtle oak influence and very good depth.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage is a floral, silky textured, Awatere Valley red, hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts and French oak-aged. It has deep colour and concentrated, plummy, cherryish flavours, tight and youthful.
