Bodegas Patrocinio Zinio Tempranillo Graciano

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

This wine is made for food, and it's good to go when you next cook up a lamb shoulder. It's a medium-bodied style of wine that shows aromas of red fruits, soft spices and savouriness on the nose, whilst the palate has smooth cherry flavours, slightly grippy tannins, licks of vanillian oak, and a very dry, lingering, warm finish with a bit of chew in the tail.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Cherry-red colour, elegant and complex.

Nose: Its aromas of forest fruits and floral bouquet are highlighted with hints of well integrated cedar and toasted oak.

Palate: Vibrant and expressive, medium bodied, with hints of sweet vanilla, typical of the oak aging. We found notes of cherry, currant, coconut and fresh raspberries, which capture the palate with a long, lingering finish.

Food: Iberian ham, Italian food, pasta, pizza, grilled vegetables, pate and especially a traditional Riojan dish (Patatas a la Riojana).

85% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano.
