James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Pale straw-green; a wine that, over the years, has sometimes had strong varietal expression; here it has intense fruit on the bouquet and palate, roughly half in a riesling spectrum, half in gewurztraminer. Accepting that at face value, it is a really attractive wine with very good balance and length.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Deep colour; varietal lychee and rosewater bouquet; the palate is soft: and forward, in keeping with the nature of the variety; finishes with a pleasant Amaro phenolic note.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; has a track record of producing traminer with clear varietal expression, and this is no exception; a fragrant display of rose petal, spice and musk on the bouquet is followed by a perfectly balanced and crisp palate without a hint of phenolics on its long, dry finish.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Has an exceptionally fragrant and perfumed bouquet with an exotic array of spice and musk, baked apple and a hint of citrus, all of which come thundering through on the Alsatian-like palate. A wine in a hundred.
