Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage , grown at Gladstone, was fermented in French (65 per cent) and American oak casks (25 per cent new). It's a smooth, easy-drinking wine with good weight and depth of stone-fruit flavours, a hint of butterscotch and a rounded, very harmonious finish.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage was grown in Dakins Road, near Masterton, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French and American oak casks. It's a full-flavoured wine, ripe and peachy, with hints of butterscotch and toast, fresh acidity and a smooth finish.
