expert reviews about

Brancott Estate Ormond'0' Gisborne Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Up to and including the 2007, this classic wine was branded Montana, but the 2008 vintage is labelled Brancott Estate. The flagship Gisborne Chardonnay from Pernod Ricard NZ, it is made for cellaring. The 2008 is fleshy, with concentrated, ripe, peachy, nutty flavours, showing excellent complexity and harmony. The 2009 vintage offers rich, citrusy, mealy, nutty flavours, with a delicious creaminess of texture, and a long finish. It's already drinking well.
