Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
Long, elegant and sweetly fruited, this complete and stylish shiraz delivers genuine length and structure. Scented with a floral, spicy bouquet of dark berries, pepper and cedary oak, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and stylish, revealing an even palate of fresh, juicy dark berry flavours underpinned by firmish, pliant tannins and presently perhaps a little cloaked by oak. Give it time.

Angus Hughson (2008 Vintage) says
Attractive mix of ripe fruit, lifted spice and new oak. Dry and full bodied, ripe yet balanced with great structural integrity. A wine that will really flower over the next 10 years. Finishing long with grainy well-ripened tannins

Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says
Deep, stylish and varietal, this contemporary shiraz has a spicy, slightly gamey and smoky bouquet of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and mulberries knit with fresh, aromatic oak and lifted by a whiff of white pepper. It's smooth and supple, with its pleasing length of vibrant fruit underpinned by shapely, fine-grained tannins in a Great Western-like style, retaining its elegance and refinement, finishing long and savoury.

Bright colour; a touch of mint frames a focused core of red fruit; the palate is quite dense but also with lightness from the red fruit and acid profile; gently savoury on the finish.

Medium-bodied, supple and smooth; above all, has length rather than depth.
