James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Has retained fresh purple-crimson colour; a vibrant and juicy medium-bodied wine that shows no hint of a high alcohol burden; the flavours are of cherry and plum, the tannins superfine and glide across the tongue, the oak balanced and well integrated.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Has retained excellent crimson hue; classic cool-grown spice and cracked pepper nuances behind black fruits and licorice on the bouquet, the finely structured, long, medium-bodied palate providing more of the same.

Tyson Stelzer (2006 Vintage) says
Distinctly textural and restrained, this is a Shiraz with a lifted violet perfume driving its pepper, black plum and cherry palate. Notes of dried herb aromatics linger amid fine, structured tannins. Very good cellar potential.
WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Minty menthol lift to the cedary/blueberry nose. Nice palate - big vanillin oak hit but well supported by an abundance of black fruits.

WINESTATE (2005 Vintage) says
Quite a lot of oak here but also plenty of ripe fruit. Soft and generous palate - quite evolved for its age.

James Halliday (1996 Vintage) says
Bright red-purple; rich, ripe cherry fruit and vanilla oak on the bouquet are followed by more perfectly ripened cherry/berry fruit flavours on an exceptionally attractive palate for a first-crop wine.
