Bream Creek Tasmanian Pinot Noir

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

One of the first commercial vineyards to be planted in Tasmania, Bream Creek's plot if now over 21 years old and is really hitting it's straps now (like 21yr olds often do). This wine is the perfect example too, a lovely bright and pretty Pinot with lots of red fruit flavours and a silky palate. It's just a little bit sexy too, which is great to see in a very fairly priced Tassie Pinot.

Winemaker's Notes

A bold, powerful example of Pinot Noir. It starts with an intense nose of dark fruits and spices flowing into a palate rich and vibrant with dark plums, black cherries and balanced fine tannins. With excellent balance and length, this wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for 7-10 years with confidence.

Bream Creek Tasmanian Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Very deep, vibrant colour; a powerful and rich pinot, often beyond the reach of mainland producers; layers of black cherry, plum and spice fill the bouquet and palate, but not to excess. Bred in the purple for cellaring. Gold Medal Tas Wine Show '14.
