Cabernet Sauvignon is easily the Margaret River’s drawcard red and nothing says put me together with some lamb steaks more clearly than this clever red. It shows captivating red fruits, such as strawberry and plum with some hints of vanilla. It’s a medium bodied style that ensures easy drinking thanks to generous fruit, an integrated structure and soft, tannins. A great introduction to the marvellousness that is Margaret.
Appearance: Vibrant purple red with a bright purple rim.
Nose: Bright, pure Cabernet fruits of redcurrant and plum overlaid by subtle leafy and herbal notes. French oak characters of cedar and toast add further complexity.
Palate: Fresh plum and redcurrant fruits on the front palate with a subtle tannin grip that young Cabernet Sauvignon wines from Margaret River are renowned for.
