Bress Silver Label Chardonnay

Cracka Review

Appearance: A vibrant and pristine medium golden straw with green tinges.

Nose: The wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of grapefruit, white peach and nectarine.

Palate: The wine is tightly packed full of fine fruit flavours of grapefruit and other citrus. Considered lees stirring has ensured that the subtle oak characters are beautifully integrated into the wine, giving the wine structure and adding power, balance and a savoury richness.

Cellaring: Whilst enjoyable now, this wine will reward careful cellaring for up to 3 years.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Very complex; strong barrel ferment inputs on the bouquet; very intense, concentrated and focused; ripe stone fruit and melon power through on the finish.
