One of the finest cabernets yet from Briarose. Stylish, elegant refined - it has it all. Red berry and cedary notes on the nose with some traces of mocha and chocolate. The palate is seamless and endless as the chalky tannins and fine grained oak add structure and precision to the finish. Beautiful.

When you get a season like 2009, these southern parts of Margaret River come into their own. This is right on the money. It's that compelling combination of grace. elegance and power wrapped up in a smooth and seamless structure. Fine silky tannins and fine grained oak supporting lots of lifted red berry fruit. Really like this wine.

Thoroughly gorgeous cabernet, this. Powerhouse of black currant, dark chocolate, lather and spice on the nose coming from the beautiful mix of fruit and oak. The fine tannins are powerful and the oak is all quality. This is a wine with poise and style that will age for many years.

Good structure, texture and length; blackcurrant with touches of earth, briar and spice; good lingering tannins.
