Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage is a single-vineyard Nelson wine, hand-picked and fermented in French oak barriques (20 per cent new). Oak-aged for 11 months, it is vibrantly fruity and moderately complex, with fresh, lemony, slightly toasty flavours and a hint of butterscotch. Worth cellaring.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage is a single-vineyard Nelson wine, hand-picked and fermented in French oak barriques (25 per cent new). Oak-aged for 10 months, it is weighty and rich, with grapefruit, stone-fruit and butterscotch flavours showing good concentration, finely balanced oak and fresh acidity.
